How to add unprocess food waste to become compost directly in the soil

Okay, so it's starting to get warm in Georgia, somewhat, and it's time to start germinating seeds. At first I wasn't going to even bother with germinating, thinking it was a waste of time, because of what I learned last year. Last year I just threw seeds where ever and didn't both with rows and space. I just planted seeds. But with germinating, the cool thing is you don't have to wait for spring to get closer, you can start planting them in fall and winter, and by the time spring shows up, you have a pretty good sized plant ready to go. The other good thing I'm starting to realize from watching loads of videos is plants, stems and seeds seem to grow much faster when placed in water or doing the propagation method. I actually plan to do a lot more of that this year, now that I have the yard space to do so.

Now the reason I decided to even share this video is because I was doing this last year because one, I didn't have any space for a compost bin, but I wanted my potted plants to continue getting nourishment. This video just proved that I really need to do more of this, so I just wanted to share. There's no point in buying soil from Home Depot or Lowes, when we throw away so much food. I have a really small compost going on outside in planter pots that I fill with food at the bottom and throw leaves and paper bags on top to cover the waste to hopefully prevent bugs. So far it looks like it's working. Feel free to share your tips of how you compost and preserve space in your garden.
